Some people dream of a having a private island, others dream of a luxury yacht, but now you do not even have to choose. Yacht Island Designs and BMT Nigel Gee have put their heads together and created a yacht-island named Project Utopia. And this is exactly what the vessel looks like, a futuristic utopia.

This project combines the privacy of a private island, the luxury a floating city and the convenience of a yacht. The Utopia Project is a manmade island-boat that can be floated to any desired destination with a speed of 15 knots (28 km/hour, 17 miles/hour).

Its round design gives the opportunity of a 360-degree view for the passengers or residents. What kind of view, is however up to the captain, as the Utopia Project is moveable and can endure all kinds of sea climates. She comes with a configurable sports court, which can be turned into a tennis court or doubles as a Heli-Pad. The Utopia project also comes in different versions, one with a non-erupting volcano and one with a waterfall.

This vessel is measuring 100m in length and breadth and has a total of 11 decks. One of these decks includes a wet dock which makes it possible for smaller supply boats or guests to dock up at the yacht-island. Project Utopia also has several helicopter pads, useful for a quick getaway or for those of your guest who prefer helicopters as means of transportation.
But, before you rush out to buy this floating paradise, there is a tiny detail that should be considered. Namely the price, the cost of the island-yacht is estimated to be over £100 million. But, if this is not an issue for you, then Bon Voyage mon amie!
