Tree hotel 1

We’ve all wondered what it would be like to be invisible.

It may seem like we’re not quite there yet but, in the meantime spending the night in an invisible cottage could be a nice little taster.

This new inventive cottage has an outside made out of mirrors, making it almost impossible to spot among the Swedish tree tops.

The cube is part of a small hotel in Sweden called the treehotel located close to Luleå. The owners of the hotel decided that they wanted something different, a kind of accommodation that would blend in with the nature and give visitors a unique experience. This is how the idea of the mirrorcube came to life.

As you can see on the pictures, the outside of the cube is made out of mirrors, and is not disruptive to the nature around it. The cube is 4x4x4 meters, and includes a double bed, a fully functional bathroom, a lounge, and rooftop terrace. To enter the cottage in the trees, you have to follow a 12 meter long wooden bridge that leads to the main entrance of the cube.

The cube is placed approximately 4-6 meters above ground and from here you are able to enjoy the beautiful views, which can sometimes even include sights of the magical Northern lights.

The cube is located close to a small town, but is surrounded by woods. This is a perfect way of getting back to nature, while keeping the luxuries of modern life.
